General

* I would like to create a ’fitted kitchen’ look with your units, can you advise?
All of our base units are provided with plinths to front and side, these can be removed allowing you to ’butt’ the units together. The run of units can be finished off with a length of plinth and worktop.

* We really like your range but are not sure when we’ll be ready to fit it?
If you choose to place an order with us we are quite happy to hold onto your items until you are ready for delivery. We ask that customers keep us posted with the progress of other works in order for us to meet deadlines as near as possible.

* How long is delivery?
All of the items featured on our website are in stock, we quote 1-4 weeks for delivery.

* Do you offer a fitting service?
We are a ’supply only company’ which is reflected in our pricing. Although we do not offer a fitting service we are more than happy to advice / discuss your options and work with you to piece together you order. Please call 0116 2515877 or email info@worldfurniture.co.uk. If you'd like to talk through your choices in person then please let us know and we can arrange for you to visit our warehouse at:
50 St George Street, The Cultural Quarter. Leicester. LE1 1QG.

Fitting

* The worktops are 68cm deep, but the base units are only 55cm deep why is this?
This is to allow for any pipes to run along the back of the units, the worktops can be cut to size should you prefer.

* How do I fit your units around a corner?
Our 1m base unit comes without a central divide making it perfect for use in a corner. One door / drawer would be hidden by the adjoining unit although as there is no central divide the cupboard space can still be used.

* How do I fix the worktops in the corner?
We would recommend a diagonal cut of each worktop. The worktops can then be secured with wood glue and flat brackets to the underneath. If a carpenter or kitchen fitter is fitting your kitchen for you then they may decide to use a mitred join.

* I would like to have an inset sink,– what is the best way to fit it?
We would suggest our inset sink base unit with a 60cm base unit next to it and a 164cm worktop to house a standard 1000mm inset sink. Allowing some spare worktop space for pots. Alternatively you can use the inset sink base unit within a longer run of units, depending on the layout of your kitchen

Appliances

* I would like to use an integrated oven with your range?
As our kitchen is designed as a freestanding rustic kitchen we feel the best cooker to compliment is a range cooker this would sit perfectly between your choice of our base units with worktop either side.

* How do I hide my appliances with your range?
We sell utility doors which can be fitted between our base units, thus creating a 63cm x 90cm space to house any standard dishwasher, fridge, freezer or washing machine.
